Eighteen years in, and a lot of the families I work with now are friends, neighbours, or relatives of families I helped years ago. One move leads to another, and before you know it there's a whole crowd behind you. I'm grateful for every single one of them.

Three broken ribs, a broken collarbone and a punctured lung later, I have some notes for “they.”

Natalie would like everyone to know she was not one of the people who said any of this would be fun. 😆

Apparently healing also involves hosting two open houses this past weekend and heading to a listing appointment tonight, which my doctor and I may have interpreted a little differently. What can I say? I do love my job.

I love hosting a neighbour’s only open house at my listings. Often, neighbours are curious to see a property on their street that has come to market, but even more so, they usually know of friends or family that are interested to move to their neighbourhood. And who else would be as invested in who buys the home than someone who lives on the street? It’s a great way to drum up additional interest.

And it’s a nice way to mingle and share some good food. The Mark’s Pizza was a hit tonight 👌
