Unveiling The Measure by Alicja Kwade at Central Park House.
 
Positioned along the streetscape, these sculptural elements frame new perspectives of Central Park House and encourage moments of pause, touch and interaction. The Measure is composed of three stone blocks and three corresponding spheres — each shaped from Quartz and Granite.
 
Alicja is a Polish-German artist based in Berlin with work featured worldwide including permanently at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, The Los Angeles County Museum and in the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin.
 
We are grateful to play a small role in sharing Alicja’s first permanent work in Canada and to see it become part of the community’s daily experience in Central Park District.

This August, Fifteen Fifteen reached a monumental milestone as our first five Observatory Homes were seamlessly lifted into place – these cantilevered residences will project up to 40 feet off the building’s base. Limited to only 18 residences, each Observatory offers sweeping 270-degree views of the ocean, mountains and city suspended out from the building.
