We are thrilled to announce that our partner, Michael Hungerford, and our Director of Indigenous Business Strategies and Relationships, Derek Hansom will be speaking at the upcoming Indigenous IMPACT breakout session this Wednesday, May 27th at H.R. MacMillian Space Centre in Vancouver.

A profound shift is underway. A new Indigenous economy is emerging—one where capital, development expertise, and governance are seamlessly aligned with culture and long-term vision. This session explores how Indigenous Nations are moving from participation in projects to true ownership and leadership, reshaping economic systems in the process. During the session, Michael and Derek will share how Seven Generations Capital combines capital with real estate development and ex*****on capability to unlock new pathways for equity participation, governance strength, and intergenerational wealth.

Stay tuned for updates from the session as we continue to support pathways toward economic self-determination and community equity.

Thank you to Westbank First Nation and Ntityix Development Corporation for hosting us at this past weekend’s job fair. It was a privilege to connect with WFN members and NDC staff and share the long-term vision for Seven Generations Capital’s projects on WFN lands.

We believe that true partnership starts with being present and listening, so we were there to:
✅ Show our progress and keep the community updated on project timelines.
✅ Open the door for future procurement and business opportunities.
✅ Create space for member input—your voice helps shape the work we do!

The future of these projects is bright, and we want to ensure the community is at the forefront of that growth. Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by our table to chat!

Seven Generations Capital and Toniic were pleased to co-host a breakfast gathering in Vancouver last week, bringing together leaders from business, investing, and the social impact sector. Our aim was to create an open and welcoming space to explore how capital can drive positive change, while introducing the principles and practices of impact investing to those beginning their journey.

It was inspiring to see participants share their ideas and insights so generously, demonstrating the power of authentic collaboration. This work strengthens our commitment to deploying capital in ways that create meaningful, measurable impact.

Thank you to Dipti Pratt and Dara Parker from Toniic, and Richard Muller from Impact United Academy, for contributing their energy, expertise, and leadership to this conversation.

Seven Generations Capital is honored to be named to the 2025 Indigenomics “10 to Watch” List, an annual recognition from the Indigenomics Institute that highlights organizations shaping the emerging $100-billion Indigenous economy through leadership, innovation, and economic reconciliation.

For our investors and partners, this acknowledgement is a signal of confidence in our model: an investment platform that structures institutional-grade partnerships where Indigenous Nations are partners in long-term, values-aligned assets. Our approach combines downside protection and rigorous ex*****on with a clear mandate: use real estate to create stable, long-term cash flow and wealth-building opportunities that advance Indigenous financial inclusion, community impact, and self-determination.

We are grateful to the Indigenomics Institute for this recognition, and to the many Nations, investors, and collaborators who are helping to grow Indigenous-led investment as a distinct and investable asset class. We remain committed to structuring transactions that align capital with Indigenous prosperity—for the next quarter, and for the next seven generations.
