Happy ! While I snuck away up the coast near Tofino to capture these views, it’s a beautiful reminder of how lucky we are to call Vancouver Island home.

Fun historical fact for today: Did you know World Oceans Day actually has Canadian roots? πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ The concept was originally proposed in 1992 by Canada’s International Centre for Ocean Development at the UN Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro!

On top of that, the coastal waters surrounding Vancouver Island are home to more than 7,000 unique marine species, making our Pacific ecosystem one of the most biodiverse on the planet.

Living and working in Victoria means the ocean is a massive part of our daily rhythm; whether it’s a morning walk along Dallas Road, a weekend beach day, or just catching the sunset over the water after work. It’s a lifestyle I never take for granted, and I love helping others discover it, too.

Had the chance to tour a stunning suite at The Aria in downtown Victoria today, and it definitely left an impression. 🀩
