All new tiled roof completed just before Christmas last year.

We came out to inspect an on-going leak that has been on and off for years.

On first appearance, it looks like the roof was in an okay condition having only being completed 20 years ago. However, on deeper inspection we found the roof to not be up to standard for heavy driving rain as it was able to get under and cause damage.

All striped back to the Saran boards and the rotten wood was replaced where the leak was occurring.

We then fixed a breathable membrane and fixed new treated battons.
We then tiled in with a more robust tile that allows for lower pitched roofs.

Ridges were then bedded down and pointed up.

All new Spanish slate roof that has recently been installed along with an Alwitra single ply flat roof👏🏻✅

We stripped this old roof due to the poor
condition of the slate and lack of underlay felt.

Once stripped, we then applied a breathable membrane and fitted all new lead valleys and watergates.
We used a high quality Spanish slate for this beautiful finish.

We also installed Alwitra single ply membrane to the flat roof to give the client peace of mind for the future.

When we install this flat roof system, we also give you a 20 year manufacturer guarantee for that piece of mind and reassurance that you’re getting a top quality product.

Using the k-rend base coat and mesh, we are able to ensure a long lasting waterproof render that stays crack free. ✅

A top coat was then applied and smoothed off, ready to be scratched to the final finish. ✅

Finishing touches new modern flood light to be fitted.

🏠We stripped off the old brittle Welsh slate back to the timber.

🏠 Then, we fixed down a breathable membrane allowing airflow and protection from water getting in.

🏠A 14/8 Spanish slate was then installed and all were double nailed to handle the worst of the weather conditions 🌧️💨

One of our recent jobs completed this month. ✅

🏠We stripped off the old layers of felt back to the wooden deck.

🏠We then removed the old damaged and soft wooden sheets back to the rafters.

🏠18mm OSB Board was then placed and fixed back down.

🏠3 layers of felt were then applied
🔨first layer taced to fix to the deck.
🔨second layer was then torched on making it water-tight.
🔨The final layer of black mineral felt was then torched on for the finish✅

One of our recent jobs completed this month. ✅

🏠We stripped off the old failing render that was no longer bonded to the wall.

🏠We then primed this wall and scratch coated with a 3/1 mortar mix.

🏠We then gave a second coat and hit with a 6mm clear granite chip for the final finish.

Storm damage had recently ripped off all the zinc ridges along this tenement building💨

Now back watertight with new zinc ridges along with heavy duty straps for any future storms. ✅

One of our jobs that we completed this week.

We replaced this old patched up felt roof using the Alwitra single ply. ✅

We also stripped out the old watergates that had holes allowing water to go straight into the roof space. ✅

New lead flashings and zinc ridges were installed given this small roof area a nice fresh look. ✅
