Taking care is the name of the game this week…

Because last week I seemed to do nothing but destroy stuff, cause chaos or make stupid expensive mistakes, which caused my purse to explode. 😩

So this week I will be mainly not leaving the house, perhaps wrap mysen in bubble wrap, and try not to cause devastation and destruction! 🚫

Be careful this week folks… fingers crossed the universe shows us how good this week can be! 😁🤞

Freedom is the most important thing in life to me, and I’m grateful that property gives me the choice to do whatever I want.

… like going to lunches with nice people in jazzy frocks and taking pictures in toilets! 😆

I love a nice, easy, simple life — happiness to me is making good memories with good people, and as little stress and drama as possible.

Life is too short to waste your time doing anything you don’t enjoy!

I’ve had this insurance policy a couple of years now…

Some people don’t worry about what will happen after they die, because they’ll be dead.

But for me, the worst thing would be that I die suddenly, during a property project, before someone has their investment funds returned.

I can’t let that happen!

I can’t be dead owing folk money, when they have trusted me with their investment!

My unexpected demise is not an excuse for my investors to not be able to recoup any funds owed!

Because I am very bothered that I still always do the right thing - even if I’m dead!

Spent weeks organising Friday night’s Battle of Britain fundraising night for an organisation, and I’ve just about recovered from it! 😅

Hosted an audience for the evening with games and activities, and I did the DJing, microphone announcements, did some singing, dancing, and ropily played an instrument, and generally made a bit of a t**t of mysen… all for the audience’s amusement and entertainment! 😆

Now you might know that I have no real skills, and I wouldn’t particularly call myself ‘really good’ at anything - but I think the key is to take part in anything anyway.

Making an effort and having a go’s the important bit, I think!
😁🙌

And the guests seemed to enjoy the evening, it was a good success, and amazingly nobody throwing tinned tomatoes at me!

So today’s lesson: give things a go anyway… what’s the worst that can happen?!? 😆

25 years ago since the American atrocity, and I’m sure we all remember where we were when we heard the tragic news.

I’ve been to the Flight 93 National Memorial centre in Pennsylvania, which was a thoughtful and insightful visit.

I have my own thoughts of what really happened that day.

But it is such an awful shame and massive tragedy that so many people lost their lives. 😓

Absolute uproar in the private rented sector yesterday, with the Government’s announcement that private landlords will now have to pay an additional fee per property, per year, to register on a database… whilst councils don’t… 🤔

The Government seem to have forgotten that private landlords provide around 19% of all the housing available in the UK… so around 1 in 5 homes are private landlord owned, mainly to fill the gap because the government can’t provide enough housing for everyone. (They provide just 17% if you’re interested) 😐

If around a fifth of all house owners suddenly get pi**ed off with getting hammered, and decide to evict tenants and sell their stock because it’s not worthwhile being a landlord anymore… where are all these people going to go?! 🤔😱
