UPDATE access is possible from the east end of Buddle road ie the City end off St John’s road.
Good morning please see statement below regarding access on Buddle Road. I am trying to determine the situation for access into John Buddle work village and Buddle House and will update with more details when I have them. Thank you Alex

We are currently at the scene of a fire at an address in the Violet Close area of Newcastle.

Please avoid the area.

Road closures are in place on Buddle Road and the surrounding area, and residents should keep doors and windows closed if they see and smell smoke.
