Ray Qu started his real estate career in the early 2008’s and joined Barfoot & Thompson’s Pakuranga office in February 2009. In the tough market and his first year in real estate Ray stood out – 22 properties sold (over $10 million dollars of real estate sales). Now working for the Papatoetoe branch, Ray’s success continues - success not driven by luck but through a structured, focused work ethic

and a never give up attitude. Ray’s negotiating skills are second to none. Ray’s decision to join the Papatoetoe branch was driven by his strong belief that South Auckland is an upcoming area that has great potential for first home buyers and investors. He is working hard to build a solid reputation in the area and is enjoying working with the many different people looking to buy locally. Ray came to New Zealand in 1997 and completed a Bachelor of Science (double major) at the University of Otago before running his own photo shop and copy centre in Epsom and Remuera. Ray’s experience specialising in photos, flyers, signage and catalogues enables him to put effective marketing material together for his clients. Ray graduated in Shenyang University of Technology, one of the famous universities in China with his Bachelor in Engineering. He worked in China for a top industrial instrumentation factory (Technology and Sales Department) for over ten years. This background helped him develop strong skills in marketing, public relationship, client service and negotiation. Ray loves his job and is true and sincere in his approach.
