Congrats to my lovely client! She came to me as a referral from her mom, whom I helped sell and buy a home about 5 or six years ago, and today she closed on her very first home. ❤️🏡😁 As a government employees, she was able to obtain a grant which was applied toward her closing costs and which never had to be repaid.

I-285 on the west side will be fully closed in both directions between MLK Jr. Drive and Cascade Road from 7 p.m. on Friday, May 8, through 5 a.m. on Monday, May 11, 2026, for emergency construction.

Drivers should expect severe, region-wide delays and intense gridlock during this weekend-long closure. Details of the Closure & Detours:Timeframe: Friday evening (7 p.m.) to Monday morning (5 a.m.).Location: I-285 Northbound and Southbound between exit 5 (Cascade Road) and exit 9 (MLK Jr. Drive).Detour - Southbound: Traffic will be diverted to I-20 and then toward the I-75/I-85 interchange.Detour - Northbound: Traffic will be diverted to Langford Parkway.

Reason: Essential concrete pavement reconstruction work.

It is highly recommended to avoid the area, use the 511GA app for updates, and seek alternative routes.

I had the pleasure of helping this emergency room nurse purchase her first home. We looked at a lot of "renovated" homes that were trash, but when we walked into this one, we both knew it was THE ONE! 😁🏡 I couldn't be happier for my client and am excited to see her making memories in her new home!

You're super excited to be closing on your dream home in just a few days when your real estate agent calls you with some bad news. The seller has decided to cancel the contract.

You're shocked. This couldn't possibly be happening. You're packed and ready to go. The closing on the sale of your current home is the next day. The movers are scheduled. I've been participating in the Seen & Sold Bootcamp for the past 11 days and we're halfway through. This challenge has really made me reflect on my consistency and visibility in my business. Over the past 11 days I’ve realized something important — visibility is not something that just happens. It’s something you have to be intentional about.

One thing I’ve learned about myself during this challenge is the lasting impact I've had on the lives of my past clients and how much they appreciated my efforts in helping them buy or sell a home.

One thing that has pushed me outside my comfort zone is reconnecting with clients that I haven't spoken to in several years.

But I’ve also realized that the more you show up, the more conversations start to happen. And in real estate, conversations create opportunities. I’m committed to staying visible and continuing to grow during the second half of this bootcamp. Because if people don’t see me… they can’t hire me.
