Ariel Serena Hedges Bowen was a powerful woman and we are excited that she is getting the recognition she deserves outside of being Dr. Bowen’s wife! 💙

The Atlanta Housing Authority broke ground Thursday on the next phase of the new mixed-income housing development at Bowen Homes, naming the entire project after a Black musician, writer and educator.

Atlanta Housing joined Huntington Bank for a home tour focused on access, education, and the steps that can help turn homeownership goals into a real plan.

From exploring the homes to learning more about available resources, the tour gave residents a chance to see what’s possible and ask the questions that matter.
