BREAKING: South Carolina pollen has officially reached “Sweet Tea Dust Storm” levels, and the entire state is now wrapped in a fine yellow blanket of regret. 🤧🌴
It starts small.
A little yellow layer on your car. You think,
"Eh… I’ll wash that tomorrow."
That was your first mistake.
Now your car isn’t blue, black, white, or silver anymore…
it’s just Carolina Gold.
You turn on the windshield wipers and suddenly it looks like you’re spreading mustard across the glass.
Washer fluid? Cute idea.
You just made pollen gravy.
Out by the coast, everything has a layer on it.
Porches. Boats. Patio chairs. Docks.
Even the air looks dusty like Mother Nature turned the saturation all the way to yellow.
People walk outside, take one breath… and immediately rethink every decision that brought them there.
"Nah… I’m staying inside today."
Except that plan never lasts.
Because this is South Carolina.
Somebody is STILL outside.
Smoker going. Grill fired up. Sweet tea in hand.
Sneezing every 12 seconds like it’s part of the conversation.
One eye watery.
Hoodie on. Shorts on.
Still saying:
"Beautiful day out here." 😅
Because in South Carolina… if the weather hits 70°, we’re going outside —
even if the air itself is actively trying to fight us.
Welcome to spring.
Or as South Carolina calls it: The Great Yellow Season. 🌼🌴
