📜🇺🇸 TODAY IN HISTORY — SEPTEMBER 25 🇺🇸📜

History has been pretty busy on September 25! Here are a few things that happened on this day:

⚔️ 1066 — The Battle of Stamford Bridge was fought in England, just weeks before the famous Battle of Hastings.

🌊 1513 — Explorer Vasco Núñez de Balboa became the first European to sight the Pacific Ocean from the Americas.

🇺🇸 1789 — The First U.S. Congress approved 12 proposed amendments to the Constitution and sent them to the states. Ten were eventually ratified and became what we know today as the Bill of Rights. 📜

🏫 1957 — The Little Rock Nine entered Central High School under the protection of federal troops during the historic fight to desegregate American public schools.

⚖️ 1981 — Sandra Day O’Connor was sworn in as the first woman to serve on the United States Supreme Court.

It’s amazing how much history can be packed into ONE date! ❤️🤍💙

There’s just something special about a fall Sunday. Crisp air, football on the TV, good food, family gathered together, and most importantly—starting the day grounded in faith. ⛪️🍁

Life gets busy, the weeks fly by, and our schedules seem to get crazier every year. Sundays are our reminder to slow down and appreciate what really matters: God, family, laughter, time together, and the blessings we sometimes forget to count. ❤️
