COMING TO TEMPLE❄️🧊⛸️: ‘Rink on the Rails’ is coming to in December. The City of calls it “ ’s largest outdoor ice rink” made of real ice.

The rink will open on Friday, December 12 and stay open through Sunday, January 4, at the Festival Grounds (301 S. 4th St.)

“This one-of-a-kind attraction will transform downtown Temple into a festive winter wonderland. Visitors can lace up their skates and glide, spin, and laugh their way into a new holiday tradition,” the City of Temple wrote.

Rails on the Rink hours of operation follow the Temple Independent School District (TISD) calendar, with adjusted schedules for school days and holiday breaks.:

REGULAR HOURS: Monday–Thursday, 11 a.m.–8:30 PM; Friday–Saturday, 11 AM–10:30 PM; Sunday, 11 AM–8:30 AM

STUDENT HOLIDAY HOURS: Monday–Thursday, 3–8:30 PM; Friday–Saturday, 11 AM–10:30 PM; Sunday, 11 AM–8:30 PM
