As a lifetime Californian, we moved to Washington State in 2015 as empty nesters. After the pandemic lockdown tyranny in Washington State, we couldโ€™ve gone anywhere in the entire United States to move but in 2021 we chose Northwest Arkansas. Glad to have left the West Coast, even though I miss the mountains, the ocean; not to mention my family!

This is such a fascinating graphic to me because it demonstrates a meaningful trend. I believe people are tired of crime, the cost of living, and want to be left alone to live their lives. I mean (and no disrespect to WY,) but thatโ€™s a pretty considerable inbound number for such a cold state! We considered and visited Wyoming, (and Montana, and Idaho) but just couldnโ€™t do it! ๐Ÿฅถ

While Iโ€™m so glad we chose AR, I hope to see responsible and sustainable growth going forward.

Grateful to be celebrating my 10th year in real estate as a solo full-time Realtor. Grateful we chose Northwest Arkansas. By Godโ€™s providence, I think we chose well.

When my sellers moved out of state, my inner mother-hen kicked in. From regular visits and vacuuming to keep those carpet lines sharp and symmetrical; to trips to Home Depot to install outdoor faucet insulation when the temperature changed. I appreciate my clientsโ€™ recognition of my efforts and am so thankful I was able to not only list, but sell their beautiful home.
