At PRAXM, our work is rooted in the business of housing people, creating communities, and supporting the places residents call home. So our current book club read, Make Your Bed by Admiral William H. McRaven, feels like a natural bridge between what we do and how we grow as a team.

The book’s lessons on discipline, resilience, and the power of small actions have sparked thoughtful discussion and reminded us that meaningful impact often starts with simple habits practiced with intention. As we continue learning and growing together, we know that work ultimately supports something much bigger: creating apartment communities where residents can build their own routines, settle into their homes, and even make their own beds.

It is a simple reminder that the small things matter, both in the homes we help create and in the culture we are building at PRAXM.

Last week, the and PRAXM teams came together for our annual day of service at Harvesters Community Food Network in Kansas City.

Spending the day volunteering alongside one another was a great reminder of how much impact can be made through simple acts of service and teamwork. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support an organization that works every day to help provide meals and resources to families across the community.
