Jim Buczynski "JimB.

" has been a leader real estate sales since the beginning of his career as a Realtor in 2004. He and his partners opened a boutique brokerage in 2006 (Real Living Helios Realty) where he served as a Sales Manager and Director. His residential sales career has exceeded $375 million which has consistently earned him recognition the Chicago Association of Realtors as a "Top Producer" (2007-2024). His vast knowledge of Chicago's neighborhoods and nearby suburbs ("UrbanBurbs"), along with his experience with home design and construction, has made him a highly sought-after Realtor by both buyers and sellers. is currently a associate with and is the team lead for his group, “JimB. Partners.”

JimB.'s previous work experience was in advertising and two of Chicago's top agencies. This honed his skills and taught him how to provide the best service to his clients. The business also gave him design, strategic positioning, and competitive analysis skills that are frequently put to work his real estate career—setting JimB. aside from other real estate professionals. is a graduate of Southern Illinois University and holds a degree with a minor in Journalism. He relishes spending time with his family and in his (sparse) free time, he enjoys playing hockey and really bad golf; as well as making all-grain beer on his self-built, basement brewery.

Pretty wild to think about.

When Debbi Nick, Chicago Realtor at Compass and I joined Compass 8 years ago, we believed in where the company was headed and in the kind of business we wanted to continue building together. Looking back now, it’s incredible to see how much has changed, how much we’ve grown, and how many amazing clients and relationships have been part of that journey.

What started 18 years ago has evolved into something we’re incredibly proud of today, and we definitely couldn’t have done it without the support of our clients, friends, colleagues, and everyone who has trusted us along the way.

Debbi Nick, Chicago Realtor at Compass and I could probably write a novel about how much we appreciate Sugandhi Chugani - JimB. & Partners, but we’ll try to keep this Instagram-caption length. 😅

She somehow manages to be thoughtful, hardworking, hilarious, organized, calm under pressure, and the person most likely to show up with a solution before anyone else even realizes there’s a problem. Honestly rude behavior.

From showings and client wins to nonstop laughs behind the scenes, our team would not be the same without her. She brings so much positivity, energy, and heart into everything she does, and we’re lucky to work alongside her every day.
