What a journey this has been🏡

This transaction started as a lingering probate case almost 7 years ago, which eventually turned into my first REO listing! After 3.5 years of hard work, persistence, problem-solving, and navigating more challenges than I can count… we made it to the closing table✍🏽

This deal tested me in ways I didn’t expect..roof negotiations, HVAC issues, multiple extensions, lender hurdles, and a whole lot of moving parts! Transaction management at its highest! Through it all, we stayed the course and got it done.

I’m incredibly grateful to the bank/seller for trusting me to see this through from start to finish. This one taught me so much about patience, perseverance, and the importance of staying solution-focused.

The tough transactions teach you the most…..and this one taught me so much!

One of my favorite days each month is delivering Meals on Wheels through LifeCare Alliance.

This week was extra special because I surprised my seniors with a Jolly Pirate donut for National Donut Day. 🍩 The surprised smiles…priceless!

This morning I had the opportunity to hear Adam Gatten guest speak at the GCRA meeting about the incredible work being done through the Community Paramedicine program with Jackson Township Fire Department.

What stood out most is that this program is truly focused on helping seniors and vulnerable residents stay safe, healthy, and independent in their homes. The program goes far beyond emergency response — it’s proactive care and prevention.

Some of the ways the Community Paramedic program helps residents include:

* Fall prevention and home safety checks
* Medication organization and wellness support
* Installing smoke detectors and grab bars
* Connecting residents with transportation, food, medical equipment, and community resources
* Helping reduce unnecessary ER visits and 911 calls
* Supporting seniors who may otherwise feel isolated

As both a nurse and Seniors Real Estate Consultant, I especially appreciate programs like this that help older adults age safely and with dignity while remaining in their homes as long as possible.

Thank you to Adam Gatten and the entire Jackson Township Fire Department team for the meaningful work you’re doing in our community.

The program serves residents in Grove City, Jackson Township, and Urbancrest .
