1️⃣ 13th Floor Haunted House 🧟
One of Denver’s most famous haunts, with monsters around every corner. Open select nights through Nov 14. Duncan’s review: he’s not going in.

2️⃣ Ghosts of Denver walking tour 🕯️
A 90-minute nighttime walk that starts at Civic Center Park and passes the Molly Brown House and Capitol Hill’s historic mansions. It runs most nights through early November. Duncan’s review: a walk with no sniffing? Terrifying.

3️⃣ The Halloween doorbell 🔔
400 rings. Strangers at the door. Dad giving away OUR treats. Truly the scariest thing in Denver.

If you’re on Denver Water, lawn watering is officially banned as of today, Oct. 1. No sprinklers, no spray irrigation, and no hand-watering the grass either.

The fines are steep too. For single-family homes it’s $500 the first time, $1,000 the second, and after that $1,000 plus they shut your water off. Yikes! Multifamily and commercial properties start at $1,000. If you got the postcard in the mail, that was your warning.

The good news: your trees, shrubs and garden beds can still get a drink any day with a hand-held hose or drip. Just do it before 10am or after 6pm.

And since the sprinklers are off anyway, now’s a great time to get them winterized. Our first freeze usually shows up mid-October. Book your blowout now before everyone else.
