Today we honor all Indigenous tribes, and especially those with deep ties to Colorado.

As a real estate company, we help people find homes every day, and we know the homes we sell sit on the ancestral lands of the Cheyenne, Arapaho, and Ute peoples. Colorado also holds deep history for the Apache, Comanche, Kiowa, Lakota, Shoshone, Diné and Pueblo nations, among the 48 tribes with ties to this state.

Today we pause to recognize that history and the Indigenous communities who still call Colorado home.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. đź’—

This month, we're joining our community in spreading awareness, showing support, and honoring the fighters, the survivors, and those we've lost. So many of us have been touched by breast cancer through a friend, a family member, a client, or our own story.

Take a moment to check in with the people you love, and remind them that early detection matters. Schedule that screening and encourage someone else to do the same. đź’—

The block you walk to dinner on is the reason Denver exists.

William Larimer laid out the 1400 block of Larimer Street in 1858. A century later the city was ready to bulldoze it. Dana Crawford spent the 1960s buying and restoring the buildings one at a time, and in 1971 Larimer Square became Denver's first historic district. Every brick you like down there survived because one person refused to let it go.

Two more for the next time you're out. The purple seats at Coors Field are row 20 of the upper deck, marking exactly 5,280 feet. Everything below that row is under a mile.

And Wynkoop, on your corner, opened in October 1988 inside an 1899 grocery warehouse and was Colorado's first brewpub. One of its founders went on to be Denver's mayor, then governor, then a U.S. senator. The brewpub came first.

Downtown living is not for everyone, and we'll tell you that honestly. But if it's for you, there's no other Denver neighborhood with this much history per block.
