And honestly, it's overdue.
Because at some point, every CRM turns into that closet you're afraid to open.
You log in and see 97 overdue tasks, duplicate follow-ups, old Smart Plan leftovers, and random reminders from six months ago.
The problem isn't that your CRM is bad.
The problem is you stop trusting it.
This update makes it easier to clear out the junk and get organized again.
But here's my biggest takeaway:
A task called "Call Lead" is useless.
A task called "Call Sarah about Westminster showing request" actually tells you what needs to happen.
Bad tasks with better reminders are still bad tasks.
They're just louder.
Be honest... how many overdue tasks are sitting in your CRM right now? 😂

And honestly, that's a huge win for agents.
Because we're not sitting at a desk all day.
We're driving between appointments, showing houses, walking inspections, taking calls in parking lots, and trying to figure out where lunch fits into the schedule.
Better reminders make it easier to stay on top of follow-up.
But here's the catch...
Bad tasks with better reminders are still bad tasks.
They're just louder. 😂

Because AI follow-up is great... until it isn't.
We've all seen it happen. You're having a real conversation with a lead, and then AI jumps in with a random message that makes the whole thing feel awkward.
According to Lofty, the new AI engine can read context, coordinate with your outreach, and know when to step back while you're actively working the lead.
If that's working the way they say it is, that's a big win.
AI should support the conversation, not interrupt it.

Lofty just dropped version 4.43 and honestly... this might be one of the most useful updates they've released in a while.

The headline feature?

👉 Smart Plan Import & Export

You can now take an entire Smart Plan and move it into another Lofty account using a simple code.

Sounds awesome, right?

It is.

But here's the catch...

Just because you CAN import a Smart Plan doesn't mean you SHOULD activate it immediately.

I've already seen enough CRM disasters over the years to know that blindly copying automations can create a ton of problems if you don't review the settings first.

So I recorded a full breakdown of the update and showed exactly what I'd be checking before turning anything on.
