Sonoma County’s market continues to find a healthy balance this summer.

More homes are coming to market, giving buyers additional choices, while demand remains steady for properties that are thoughtfully priced and beautifully presented. Although buyers are taking a little more time to make decisions, strong homes are still standing out and commanding attention.

Summer may be here, but Marin’s market isn’t slowing down.

Inventory remains exceptionally tight, with just 1.3 months of supply available in June. Nearly half of all homes sold above asking price, and 44% received multiple offers—proof that buyers are still competing for well-priced, well-prepared homes.

While many sellers wait until after Labor Day to list, this limited inventory could make summer an excellent time to be on the market.

Marin continues to be one of the most competitive markets in the North Bay.

With inventory down nearly 30% from last year, buyers are competing for a limited number of homes. In May, 54% of homes sold with multiple offers, and nearly half sold above the asking price. The homes achieving the strongest results are the ones that enter the market with the right pricing, preparation, and strategy.
