Adult me has a tendency to focus on the next thing on the to-do list.

Little me would just be over here losing her mind that we live in a lake town, married our favorite person, get a front-row seat to our boys’ lives, collect friends everywhere we go, and help people find homes for a living.

Perspective is funny like that. ❤️

Tell me something your younger self would be excited about if they could see your life today

Today feels like a good day to count blessings.

Cozy, rainy day at home.
Favor with insurance for a client.
Sister chats.
Date night with the hubs.
New opportunities for Jack.
Friendship.

God has been so good. ❤️

What’s one thing you’re celebrating today?

Turns out iced coffee isn’t a substitute for a hug... but it’s gotten me through a lot. 😂☕

Between baseball games, youth camp, client calls, contracts, and all the everyday moments in between, life has been full.

And honestly? I love it.

These photos are a pretty good snapshot of what the last few weeks have looked like around here.

Busy, grateful, caffeinated, and surrounded by some really incredible people.

What have you been busy showing up for lately?

This Prairie Springs home isn't trying to be trendy.

It's the kind of home that's been loved, maintained, and cared for over the years. The kind where you can enjoy your morning coffee on the patio, host family holidays, park the RV, and still have room to breathe.

If you've been waiting for space without giving up convenience, this might be worth a look.

One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is:
"Jamie, we'd love to buy a house... but we're probably not ready yet."
And sometimes that's true.

But more often than not, people are closer than they think.

Not because they suddenly find a pile of money.
Because they make a plan.

That's why I encourage buyers to start the conversation long before they're ready to move.

Sometimes that plan is 30 days.
Sometimes it's 6 months.
Sometimes it's a year.

The goal isn't to pressure you into buying.
The goal is to help you understand what's possible.

No sales pitch.
No obligation.
Just a conversation and a game plan.

If buying a home is on your mind for this year or next, shoot me a message and let's talk through it together.

What's the biggest thing holding you back from buying right now?

This morning started like most others.

I grabbed an iced coffee and headed to a listing appointment.

But this one was different.

There was no excitement about the next chapter. No conversations about paint colors, moving boxes, or big dreams for the future.

This sweet seller had purchased this home with plans to renovate it and make it their own. Then, unexpectedly, her husband passed away.

Today, we sat at the kitchen table and grieved a future that never got the chance to happen.

We cried together.

We shared stories.

And then, when she was ready, we made a plan.

Moments like this remind me that real estate is rarely just about houses. It’s about people. It’s about life’s biggest celebrations, but it’s also about walking alongside people through some of their hardest days.

Not every transaction begins with excitement.

Not every sale is something someone wanted.

But whatever your reason for buying or selling, I promise you’ll never have to navigate it alone.

Sometimes my job is opening doors.

Sometimes it’s simply sitting at a kitchen table and holding space for someone’s story. ❤️

Real estate can be competitive. There are leaderboards, awards, and production numbers everywhere.

But at Keller Williams Grand Lake, some of our biggest celebrations aren’t about who sold the most houses.

They’re about how many people we can help.

This year, our annual golf tournament raised $36,750 to support organizations making a difference in our community, and getting to be a small part of that is something I’m incredibly proud of.

I love being surrounded by people who cheer for each other, serve generously, and believe success means more than just closing deals.

Yes, we help people buy and sell homes every day.

But we also believe in showing up for our community, giving back, and making a difference together.

That’s the kind of culture I want to be part of.

And that’s something worth celebrating. ❤️

✨ Goodbye, May. Hello, June. ✨

May was full.

Baseball fields. Family date nights. Youth camp. Fresh strawberries. Celebrating Jack’s accomplishments. Watching Jett do what he loves. Time with Jake. Long days that somehow went by way too fast.

There were business wins too. We wrapped up Leadership Academy, helped a first-time home buyer get the keys to her home just in time for her birthday, brought new listings to the market, and closed a sight-unseen purchase that kept us all on our toes.

And somewhere in the middle of it all, I got chased out of a house by someone who was upset about something that had absolutely nothing to do with me. 😂

But when I look back on May, my favorite memories happened in between the big moments.

The conversations.
The laughter.
The ordinary days.

Those are usually the things that end up meaning the most.

☀️ What’s one thing you’ll remember about May?

We don’t always get to work together but some days our worlds collide and we get to run around having fun, building relationships, and raising money for an incredible cause. Goodness I love this life.
