Some closings feel like life coming full circle, and this is certainly one of them. I have known Carly since she was a little girl. She grew up alongside my daughter, and our families have shared many memories over the years. It has been so rewarding to watch her and Brett work hard, make smart financial decisions, and put themselves in such a wonderful position at a young age.

They initially fell in love with a fixer-upper that had an amazing backyard and were so disappointed when their offer wasn’t accepted. I reminded them that the right home would come along, and, just a few days later, it did! They tried not to get their hopes up, but this time, they received the wonderful news they had been waiting for.

Their new home far surpasses what they thought they had lost. It is move-in ready, beautifully maintained, filled with quality features, and located in a neighborhood with great neighbors. To own such an incredible home while still in their mid-20s is truly an amazing accomplishment.

Congratulations, Carly and Brett! I couldn’t be happier for you both, and I’m so excited to see all the memories you’ll create in your beautiful new home! ❤️🏡

This closing is especially meaningful to me. The sellers were our neighbors for 10 years, and my kids spent many happy hours at their home. Over the years, we shared so many fun times, from New Year’s Eve celebrations and Nerf gun fights to pig roasts. We even joked that our dogs were boyfriend and girlfriend! There’s a unique comfort and connection that develops when you share everyday life as neighbors.

After 20 years of creating countless memories in this home, they are beginning an exciting new chapter in a home that fits them perfectly. It’s bittersweet to see them leave a house and neighborhood that hold so much history, but I’m incredibly happy for them and excited about all the wonderful memories still waiting to be made.
