I’m Rosalia — Sicilian-American 🇮🇹, wife, mom of two girls, Realtor 🏡, lover of family, faith, travel, fitness, good food, coffee ☕… and yes, a little Zumba 💃😂

I’m incredibly proud of my Sicilian roots and everything that made me who I am. But Naples & Marco Island, Florida are also home to me because I grew up here ❤️🌴❤️— and helping people find their place to call home is something I truly love.

🇮🇹 Episode 4 — Palermo , La Santuzza
& the BEST Cannolo

There are places you visit… and then there are places you feel.

Palermo was both.

Experiencing the Festino di Santa Rosalia, seeing generations of Palermitani come together for La Santuzza, and feeling the faith and tradition that runs so deeply through this city was something I’ll never forget.

And, of course… we couldn’t leave Palermo without trying the famous cannolo from the monastery run by nuns. 🤌🇮🇹

One bite and I understood the hype. ❤️

This journey keeps reminding me that I didn’t come to Sicily just to visit…

I came home to my roots ❤️🇮🇹🙌

Every street, every light, every prayer leads back to Santa Rosalia.

As a proud First generation Sicilian American my roots are with the city and people of Palermo ❤️🇮🇹🇺🇸

The devotion, the history, the faith, the music, and the thousands of people gathered together remind me that faith and hope can unite an entire city.

“Mamma mia… chi càuru ” ☀️🥵
In Sicilian
(Translation: “Wow… it’s so hot outside!”)

That simple phrase got me thinking…

We all have a choice every single day.

We can tune into the station that plays complaints, negativity, and everything that’s going wrong…

Or we can change the station.

Life is a lot like a radio frequency.

If you’re tuned to 99.1 FM—complaining, negativity, and focusing on what’s wrong—that’s exactly what you’ll keep hearing.

But if you switch to 100.1 FM—gratitude, faith, opportunity, and positivity—you’ll begin to notice the beauty that was there all along.

The weather doesn’t change.
Your circumstances may not change overnight.

But your perspective changes everything.

Do the hard now so you can do the easy later.
