Congratulations to the buyers on their new home and their return to the Pioneer Valley! 🏡

After living in New York City, they are moving back to the area. 🚙 One of the buyers grew up here, so being close to family was an important part of their search.

We looked at several historic homes before finding a classic Colonial farmhouse in Florence, close to Florence center and in the same neighborhood as one of the buyer’s parents. The updated home has a wraparound porch, detached garage, and a large, flat backyard.🌿🌸

One interesting part of evaluating this home was its owned solar system☀️ and battery backup. Improvements such as solar are not necessarily reflected dollar-for-dollar in an appraisal, so we discussed that possibility before deciding how to approach the offer.

It was another multiple-offer situation, and the buyers’ offer was accepted.

For these buyers, the value of the home was about much more than any one feature. They found the historic home and outdoor space they wanted—and they get to live close to family.

Congratulations to my buyers on their new home in downtown Northampton! 🏡

Location was especially important in this search. My buyers wanted to be close to downtown Northampton, with a manageable-sized home and enough outdoor space for their dog. 🐕

This 3-bedroom, 2-bath home offered an unusual combination: convenient access to downtown, a large, level backyard 🌿, and flexible living space with a bedroom and full bath on both floors.
In a multiple-offer situation, determining how much to offer requires looking beyond the list price.

We carefully considered the home's location, improvements, features, and comparable sales to determine a price my buyers felt comfortable offering.

We also used the inspection process to investigate a few items more carefully, so my buyers could understand what they were purchasing, address an important basement moisture issue, and plan for future improvements—including a sauna and custom closets.

I'm thrilled they found a home that fits how they want to live and one they can continue to make their own over time. The first project is already complete: a beautiful new white fence.

Congratulations to my buyers on the purchase of their beautiful historic home in Northampton's Round Hill neighborhood! 🏡

From the moment they first saw this home, they fell in love with its architecture, abundant natural light, and walkable location just moments from downtown Northampton.

One of my favorite parts of summer ☀️ travel is discovering places and products I probably wouldn't have found otherwise.

During our recent trip to the Lake George area, we visited Nettle Meadow Farm 🌿 and tried their triple crème Kunik cheese. Talk about delicious! 🧀

I later learned it had earned international recognition as one of the world's best cheeses. I also discovered that proceeds from the farm help support an animal sanctuary 🐐 that provides a home for more than 130 rescued farm animals.

The best surprise? We can purchase triple crème Kunik cheese locally at Whole Foods in Hadley!

Another reason I love exploring New England. 🌿
