Big update for Abington and Jenkintown 👏

On Wednesday, May 13, the community is invited out to celebrate the ribbon cutting for the Abington–Jenkintown Connections project, marking the completion of its first four phases.

This has been years in the making, with planning starting back in 2017, and it’s all about making these roads easier and safer for everyone. Think better sidewalks, safer intersections, improved access to transit stops, and upgrades to stormwater management along some of the area’s busiest corridors.

It’s one of those projects you might not notice all at once, but it makes a real difference in how people move through the neighborhood every day.
