Some homes are so much more than just an address. ❤️

Today my seller closed on the home she loved for more than 20 years, and this one will always hold a special place in my heart.

I lived just two doors down from Judy for many years, and somewhere along the way, she became family. She loved my son, Banks, like her own grandchild, watching him while I worked and creating memories I’ll cherish forever. She taught him itsy bitsy spider and what we call “happy feet” dancing!

Today she begins an exciting new chapter, moving out of state to be closer to her family. While I couldn’t be happier for her, Raleigh won’t be quite the same without her.

Turning a house into a home means making it work for your family. ❤️

Over the last few months, we’ve realized we rarely use our formal living room. It looks nice, but it just isn’t serving our day-to-day life.

So we decided to make a change.

We’re adding a wall and glass French doors to transform the space into something we’ll use every single day - a playroom and office combo. A place where Banks can play while I work, and where our home functions a little better for this season of life.
