So happy for my first-time home buyers! 👩🏼‍🤝‍👨🏽♥️

These buyers had a goal: get into Point Loma without stretching beyond what made sense financially.

And this is exactly why we tell first-time buyers:
You don’t have to buy your forever home on your first purchase. Sometimes the smartest first move is finding the right property, in the right location, at a price point that works for you and building from there.

This home checked a LOT of boxes:

Quartz countertops + newer stainless appliances
Newer A/C + heating
Upgraded triple-pane windows
Excellent Amenities

For our buyers, it wasn’t about finding the biggest house. It was about getting into the neighborhood they loved.

Condo and townhome sales jumped nearly 13% compared to last July, and affordability may be a big reason why. 👇

With the median single-family home around $1.1M compared to roughly $665K for attached homes, are condos becoming the new “starter home” in San Diego?

Here’s the interesting part: I’m seeing firsthand that not every condo market or neighborhood is behaving the same way. Inventory, HOA costs, interest rates, location and pricing are making a HUGE difference.

So I’m curious…
Would you rather buy a condo in the San Diego neighborhood you really want OR move farther out to get a detached house for a similar price?
