can take now, including:
• Reviewing homeowners and flood insurance coverage
• Creating a home inventory with photos or video
• Safeguarding important documents
• Preparing emergency supplies and evacuation plans
• Clearing gutters, drains and potential outdoor hazards
• Taking steps to help protect windows and your property
• Signing up for local emergency alerts
For those of us who live and work in Louisiana and
Mississippi, these are good reminders to revisit every hurricane season, even if we've been through it many times before.
