CHS Market Update | October 2–8 🏡

We saw a noticeable slowdown in homes going under contract this week across the Charleston market, but some areas are still showing strong activity.

205 properties went under contract, including 167 single family homes with a median list price of $525,000.

Mount Pleasant had a particularly strong week, with 21 of its 27 single family homes going under contract listed above $1 million. Meanwhile, Summerville and Ladson saw a slower pace with just 21 single family homes under contract.

What does this tell us? Buyers are still making moves, but activity varies significantly depending on location and price point.

If you're thinking about selling, understanding your specific neighborhood's competition is more important than looking at the Charleston market as a whole.

The right pricing and presentation strategy can make all the difference.
