One helpful tip? Create a home management binder to keep important documents organized in one place. Consider including your deed, homeowners insurance information, home warranty, inspection report, mortgage documents, billing information, receipts for major improvements, and other important home records.

Keeping these documents organized can make it easier to find what you need when it's time for maintenance, repairs, insurance questions, refinancing, or eventually selling your home.
