So… what exactly is ADTV, and why do I do it?

ADTV stands for American Dream TV, a real estate and lifestyle show that gives me the opportunity to get out from behind the desk and into the community.

I get to meet the people behind the businesses, explore the places that make our area special, tell stories, and showcase what makes Hampton Roads such an incredible place to live, work, and build a life.

And honestly? That’s why I do it.

Real estate is about so much more than buying and selling houses. It’s about the people, the businesses, the neighborhoods, the experiences, and the stories that make a place feel like home.

ADTV gives me a platform to tell those stories.

From local restaurants and small businesses to luxury experiences, community events, and the people making things happen behind the scenes, every episode is an excuse to discover something new and introduce you to the people worth knowing.

So if you’ve ever wondered why you see me running around with a camera, interviewing business owners, hopping on boats, riding golf carts, or generally getting into whatever adventure comes next…

That all we do is make funny videos. 😂

Meanwhile, somewhere behind the scenes, we’re negotiating contracts, coordinating inspections, answering 47 questions before breakfast, solving problems that didn’t exist yesterday, and somehow making sure everyone gets to the closing table.

The funny videos are just the part you get to see.

SNEAK PEEK!

We took American Dream TV to the Eastern Shore for an episode that was EPIC!

From the water to the streets of Cape Charles, this episode was all about the people, businesses, experiences, and entrepreneurs that make the Eastern Shore feel like its own little world.

We kicked things off on the water with , getting a firsthand look at what luxury on the Chesapeake can actually look like. From the boat itself to the views, the experience, and the people behind the company, this was one of those stops where you immediately understand why experiences like this are becoming such a huge part of the coastal lifestyle.

Then we hit the streets with CC Ryder Rentals, because if you know Cape Charles, you know a golf cart is basically mandatory. 😂 We got to cruise around town, take in the scenery, and let Smitty show us a little more of the personality behind the business.

And of course, no luxury day on the Eastern Shore is complete without good food.

A huge thank you to & for helping bring the experience together with the kind of spread that makes you want to cancel whatever plans you had later cause their food is delicious!

I didn’t get into real estate because I wanted to sell houses.

I got into it because I wanted to help people make some of the biggest decisions of their lives with confidence.

Over the years, I’ve realized that the houses are only part of the story. It’s the people, the relationships, the big moves, the fresh starts, and everything that happens in between that keeps me doing this.

And honestly? I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

This is why I do what I do.

3 things I’d tell every homeowner:

1. Don’t finance solar panels.
2. Don’t finance a water softener.
3. Don’t take out a HELOC and then try to sell your house a month later.

Some homeowner lessons are learned the easy way. Others… not so much.
