Real estate can be so unpredictable. 🏡
This home was under contract once already, and that deal actually fell apart at the closing table… mid-signing. A first for me in my real estate career! 😅
But I always tell my clients—there is a purpose for everything, and sometimes things really do happen for a reason. And this sale feels like the perfect example.
This was an especially sentimental one. My seller was selling her parents’ home—a home they had owned for 50+ years. Her childhood home. A place filled with decades of memories, milestones, and so much life. ❤️
Just a few days after that first deal fell apart, the A/C went out at my seller’s current home… right in the middle of summer. 🥵 While they waited for it to be fixed, she and her family packed some bags and headed back to her parents’ house to stay.
And just like that, they were given one last little hoorah in the home before saying goodbye. One more chance to sleep under that roof, spend time together there, and make a few final memories. 🥹
Then came the right buyer, with a great offer—and somehow, it all just felt like it was supposed to happen this way.
One of my favorite parts? He even plans to keep her mom’s beautiful painting on the living room wall. ❤️
Sometimes a deal falling apart doesn’t mean it wasn’t meant to happen… it just means it wasn’t meant to happen that way.
This one came full circle, and I couldn’t love the ending more. 🏡❤️ A truly meant-to-be moment.
