Blair Martin-Realtor Realtor at Liz Moore and Associates I am from New Kent, VA and currently live in the wonderful small town of West Point.

Growing up I never took living near Williamsburg for granted. My mom worked at Colonial Williamsburg, and I spent my days riding my bike through the historical streets. I wasn’t aware that it was rare to have experiences that brought history to life in such a way as our beautiful area does. To be a community steeped in tradition and history, and yet offer so much growth is a special combination. I have always wanted to build a career in Real Estate and doors opened so I ran through them! Being an agent is complimented by being a small business owner that serves homeowners. I began a cleaning company years ago that my oldest daughter now manages. The best part of that business is seeing how much it means for people to arrive to their clean home and be able to relax and enjoy being there. It illustrates just how important a home is and what it truly means. I look forward to being able to offer that feeling in a more impactful capacity as your agent. My attention to detail and ability to listen and understand what my client’s needs are greatly impact my results. Cultivating lasting relationships is paramount to me. My husband Justin and I have been together since we were in high school. We have three children and enjoy all outdoor activities. We love hiking Virginia’s beautiful mountains, taking advantage of our waterways by paddle boarding and kayaking, and biking all the amazing trails that are offered. Two of my children are power lifters and compete as well. I enjoy more relaxing activities also, like reading and visiting all the fabulous w**eries and breweries that our area and surrounding areas offer. You can always find me frequenting anywhere they offer coffee!

🎣 Virginia’s Fall Free Fishing Days are September 25 through 27! No license needed for recreational rod and reel fishing in fresh or saltwater. Seasons, size and catch limits, and gear rules still apply. I will be out there working on my cast!

🦪 Fall is also a great time to plan an oyster harvest. Check your river area first to make sure harvesting is allowed and there are no health closures.

I can’t go anywhere without talking real estate and I wouldn’t want to! I love this stuff💕

We were fishing in the Bow Valley and naturally our guide and I ended up talking about the housing market. He bought his roughly 1,500 sq ft detached home in Canmore seven years ago for around $480,000. He recently sold it for around $1.2 million.

Of course that meant I had to do a little digging of my own.

Recent detached sales in Canmore have averaged just over $2 million CAD, and even apartments are averaging around $850,000.

What surprised me was that these aren’t necessarily huge homes with big yards. A lot of what we saw was pretty modest in size with very little yard.

Wild numbers, but spend a little time here and you understand why people want to call this place home.

A little fishing, a lot of exploring, and somehow I still managed to squeeze in a little real estate research.

So while my dreams of owning a tiny vacation home here may be on hold for now, we will absolutely be back very soon.

Justin and I spent Saturday night in Death Valley for LSU vs. Clemson, and this was definitely one for the books. Great game, incredible atmosphere, and a very fun way to kick off football season.

It's hard to believe it's already been a few weeks since July 11.

I've found myself going back through these photos more than once, and every time I'm reminded how special that day was. Watching my daughter Kylee marry Thomas is a memory I'll carry with me forever.

There were happy tears, so much laughter, and one of those days where you wish time would slow down.

I'm so grateful for every moment of it. Congratulations, Kylee and Thomas. We love you both and couldn't be happier for this next chapter. 🤍
