Facebook memories reminded me today of a post I shared years ago, when I stumbled across my parents’ very first home in an old phone book. ❤️
They built that house together, and it was one of the first places I ever called home.
Like so many families in the early ’80s, they eventually lost it when the housing market became incredibly difficult and interest rates went sky-high.
But losing the house didn’t erase what happened inside it. The birthdays, the ordinary days, the hard days, the beginnings. Those walls still hold a little piece of our family’s story.
Homes aren’t just buildings. They’re chapters of our lives. 🏡
Maybe that’s one of the reasons I’ve always understood that buying or selling a home isn’t just a transaction.
What home still holds a piece of your story? ❤️ See the first comment.
