I’m often asked whether selling over the holidays, especially around Christmas is a good idea. My advice is always the same: do what’s right for your situation.

If you’re hosting family, entertaining often, and have lots of people coming and going, the holidays may not be the ideal time to list. On the other hand, if a property is vacant, there are always buyers quietly watching the market, and sometimes your home checks every box on their must-have list.

I also truly believe this: if you want to sell, you should be on the market.
Trying to time the market works if you have the luxury of time, but not everyone does. Some sellers are motivated to move sooner rather than later, and that’s okay. The right timing is always a mix of motivation and personal circumstances.

With a conversation, I can help guide that decision-making, just like I did with these wonderful clients.
