The market is speaking. The question is, are sellers listening?👂

HRM now has 1,596 active residential listings, up 22% from last year. Homes are taking a little longer to sell, inventory is sitting at 3.9 months, and the average list to sale ratio has dipped to 98.08%.

But here is the important part: houses are still selling every day.

If you are serious about selling, price your home for today’s market, present it properly and market it well. Buyers have more choice, and they are not going to overpay simply because a seller wants them to.

You can listen to the market now, or the market will eventually tell you the hard way. LOL.

The good news? Average prices are still holding, up 0.7% from last year. This is not a bad market. It is simply a market that rewards realistic sellers.🤓
