Plot twist: I think summer just overtook winter as my favourite season.

For years, my ranking was easy: winter, fall, spring… and poor summer was always dead last. Then we built a deck, and suddenly I found myself spending evenings outside watching the clouds, admiring the sunsets, and actually looking forward to warm weather.

Fast forward to this summer, and I’ve somehow become the person who spends time paddle boarding, tending a vegetable garden, chasing orcas, and getting excited about preserving food for winter.

Turns out all summer needed was a little better PR. ☀️🌱🛶🐋
