Katie’s Bears was created in loving memory of my Kaitlin Vanderhoek.
Katie was incredibly passionate about planes and airshows, a love she shared with her dad, Gerry, the Director of Flight Operations at Airshow London. Katie's Bears have travelled around the world with various aircrews, visiting flight decks, ramps, bases, and airshows across the globe. Along the way, crews take photos to share with children at the Children’s Hospital who follow their adventures ✈️🐻❤️
Katie’s Bears support Children’s Health Foundation, continuing Katie’s legacy of her love for aviation and her compassion for helping other children with cancer.
The goal is to take Katie to every country, every airport, and especially every airshow. If you’re travelling or attending an airshow, you can take a Katie bear along, capture a photo, and share the adventure using so the family can see all the incredible places Katie gets to explore.
