The June housing numbers are in, and the market continues to show steady momentum across Durham Region, Peterborough, and Kawartha Lakes.

Home sales increased for the second month in a row, while average prices remained stable at $853,827. New listings also increased, giving buyers more options without significant price movement.

📍 Peterborough
Sales continued to rise, with 216 homes sold in June. Average prices held steady, showing a balanced market where both buyers and sellers can make confident decisions.

📍 Kawartha Lakes
June saw another increase in sales, along with a 5.1% rise in the average sale price compared to May. While fewer new listings came to market, buyer activity remained strong.

Overall, June marked the fourth consecutive month of sales growth across all Central Lakes regions, a positive sign that buyer confidence continues to build while market conditions remain balanced.
