The NVAR International Block Party was buzzing! 🇩🇴

As this year’s Chair of the Hispanic REALTOR® Forum, I wanted to proudly represent my home country, the Dominican Republic, and we showed out!

We brought the vibes, the music, authentic Dominican food, ice-cold Presidente beer, and, of course, our national drink and cultural symbol: Mamajuana. I hope you had a sip!

Today, I had the opportunity to train agents in our office on a simple 5-point framework to optimize their inbox, improve efficiency, and reclaim valuable time.
For real estate professionals, email can quickly become a second full-time job between clients, contracts, lenders, title companies, vendors, showing requests, and everything in between.

It’s creating a system where the important messages rise to the top, repetitive tasks are automated, and you spend less time managing emails and more time growing your business.

The journey continues! 🎓

I just completed Broker Law, leaving only the Appraisal course in August before I finish the educational requirements for my broker’s license. This class provided valuable insight into protecting yourself, your clients, and your business while navigating the many responsibilities of brokerage practice.

To make the experience of the last day even more memorable, the group surprised me with a birthday cake, so the celebration continued. We truly have an incredible group, and I’ve enjoyed learning alongside everyone throughout these classes.

I’m looking forward to crossing the finish line and earning my broker’s license by the end of the year.

Halfway through the year and I’m reminded that progress beats perfection every time.

There have been wins, lessons, moments of growth, and plenty of reminders that the journey is built one day at a time. Real estate continues to challenge me to serve at a higher level. Leadership continues to stretch me. Photography continues to remind me to slow down, observe, and appreciate the details.

I’m proud of the ground covered so far, but I’m even more excited about what’s ahead. There is still a lot of year left. More opportunities to learn, improve, stay consistent, and move closer to the goals that matter most.

Today, I’m taking a moment to appreciate the progress, enjoy the journey, and stay intentional about the next chapter.

Keep showing up. Keep doing the work. Keep moving forward.

This year, we partnered with Fostering Futures—a program that helps young people ages 18-21 as they transition from traditional foster care into adulthood and self-sufficiency.

*Eligible youth are likely working or pursuing school or have a barrier to those outcomes.
*According to the Fostering Futures Program, youth exiting foster care in Fairfax County often have the worst outcomes (housing insecurity; drug abuse) in the state.
*Fostering Futures exists to work with these individuals to help them avoid these situations.

Our office came together and showed up big. We provided household items needed to get started in independent living 🙏🏼
