One thing I really want Houston-area buyers to know right now: you don’t have to have everything perfectly figured out before you start.

You don’t need to know exactly what neighborhood you want. You don’t need to understand every loan program. And you definitely don’t need to spend months scrolling through homes before talking to a Realtor.

The Houston market is BIG, and what $300K buys you in one area can look completely different 20–30 minutes away.

Taxes, insurance, HOA fees, builder incentives, interest rates, and even commute times can completely change what makes sense for you.

My biggest advice? Start with a conversation, not a house search.

🤘🏾Rent ain’t cheap no more… be ready for $1,700-$2,500+ depending on the area. 💸

🤘🏾You might need first month’s rent, deposits, admin fees, AND 3x the rent and a lil scamming on the side in income just to get approved. 😩

🤘🏾H-E-B is a lifestyle, not just a grocery store. 🛒😂

🤘🏾Buc-ee’s ain’t a gas station… it’s a tourist attraction. ⛽🐿️

🤘🏾 The weather got multiple personalities. It’ll be 98° at lunch and flooding by dinner. 🌞🌧️
