As temperatures rise, we often receive questions about air conditioning performance. Here’s a helpful reminder:

✅ A properly functioning residential A/C system is designed to cool your home approximately 15–20 degrees below the outdoor temperature.

For example:
🌞 If it's 95°F outside, your A/C may maintain indoor temperatures around 75–80°F.
🌞 During extreme heat, your system may run longer than usual and may not reach your thermostat setting until outdoor temperatures decrease.

To help your A/C perform its best:
✔️ Keep blinds and curtains closed during the hottest part of the day.
✔️ Avoid frequent thermostat adjustments.
