Vacant homes for a buck? The City of Baltimore is moving forward with its plan to sell certain vacant properties for $1 each.

Individuals and community land trusts can buy the properties for $1 but they would be sold to nonprofits for $1,000 a piece.

Today I celebrate a professional milestone. It has been 9 years since I made the decision to change the trajectory of my 9-5 (sometimes 3-11 etc) career and embark upon the journey of becoming a licensed Realtor. 8 years ago today, I passed the real estate exam and my life would forever be changed. There have been many ups and downs but I'd do it all over again. I am grateful for the people I have met, the lives I have touched and those who have touched my life as well. Every transaction made me a better professional. I am kicking things up a notch this year and cannot wait to see where my love for real estate takes me next!
