Buying a property together can work really well, but only when everyone is clear about the financial arrangement from the beginning.
A co-ownership agreement should outline who contributes what, who is responsible for what, and what happens when one person wants to sell or exit.
The important part is that the ownership split isn't always 50/50. It should reflect what each person actually agreed to contribute and receive.
