🤝 Meet Maria Garces, Development Coordinator at StreetSide Winnipeg for the better part of the last 6 years, which followed 2 years in property management before that. Her experience in both positions provided a strong understanding of the full condominium process; from development to turnover.
🎓 Beginning as a Condo Administrator, Maria gained valuable knowledge in property management and condominiums operations. This was a natural stepping stone into her current role as Development Coordinator at StreetSide, where she has since earned certification to become a Property Management Representative. This certification, along with her near decade of experience in the industry, has enabled her to support both internal teams and project success.
⚖️ Maria's enthusiasm for the role stems from being the main contact between the developer and the property manager. It's this unique privilege that allows her to ensure communication is clear, processes are organized, and transitions are handled smoothly. Maria feels rewarded to support project turnovers and help set them up for long-term success.
🏐 When she's not supporting projects at work, Maria supports her daughter in her sports, where she is a high-level volleyball player. Maria also enjoys spending time with the rest of her family, travelling, and making the most of every moment with her family.
