5 things I wish I knew when I started real estate that I know now:

1. “It’s 90% emotional, 10% homes.”
I thought it was about showing pretty houses. It’s actually about managing emotions, solving people’s problems, and navigating major life changes.

2. “Most of your sphere won’t trust you at first.”
Friends and family often wait to see if you’ll last in the business. Don’t take it personally — you have to earn their confidence.

3. “The best clients come from service, not sales.”
Being helpful, honest, and resourceful will bring you more business than any pitch.

4. “Referrals come from impact, not transactions.”
Your best clients will refer you because of how you made them feel, not just because you closed.

5. “Success can burn you out if you’re not structured.”
You hit momentum, take every client, and before you know it, your personal life, health, and joy suffer.

So grateful for all of the lessons that I’ve learned on this wonderful journey in real estate 🙏
