📚 Storytime: every now and then I randomly send someone on the internet $10/$20. Nothing big. Just a small act of kindness. It’s usually random strangers in local Facebook groups who are going through a tough time.
Months later, one of the ppl reaches back out to me. Not because I asked them to. Not because I stayed in touch. I hadn’t even sent a message. They simply remembered me.
That moment reminded me how God connects people.
We never know what He’s doing behind the scenes. We think a moment is over, but God may be still writing the story. One small act of obedience can become a connection months or years later. One small act of kindness can become so much more.
It also made me wonder… how many people have my number saved because of one random Apple Pay? How many connections has God created that I don’t even know about yet?
The older I get, the more I realize that obedience is rarely about the moment you’re in. It’s about trusting that God is weaving things together in ways you’ll understand later.
So if you feel led to encourage someone, help someone, pray for someone, or bless someone, please do it.
You never know what God is building through one small “yes.” ❤️
