We wrapped up an important and productive week in Washington, D.C., advocating on behalf of Virginia's REALTORS® and the clients and communities they serve.
Virginia REALTORS® members met with our congressional delegation to ensure REALTOR® voices are heard where policy decisions are made. We discussed solutions to increase housing inventory, improve affordability, support first-time home buyers, and modernize outdated tax policies, like updating the home equity tax exclusion, that can help unlock more homes for the market.
Strong advocacy leads to stronger communities, and we're proud that Virginia was so well represented at this year's REALTORS® Legislative Meetings. Thank you to every member who took the time to share their expertise and champion policies that protect property ownership and expand housing opportunities for all Virginians.
