Here’s a quick look at what was happening in the Salt Lake City market:

🏡 Active listings: 3,756 homes, up 10.9% from last year

💰 Median list price: $567,000, down 2.7% from last year

⏳ Median days on market: 57 days

📉 About 30.3% of active listings had a price reduction, giving buyers more room to negotiate

🤝 The August market gave buyers more choices and less pressure to rush into a decision. For sellers, pricing a home correctly and making a strong first impression remained especially important. Well priced homes were still attracting buyers, showing that demand remained healthy despite the increase in inventory.
